TeoWin Commercial Management

The Commercial Management module within TeoWin enables businesses to manage customers orders, supplier orders, outsourced orders and inventory.

It is vital for every company seeking significant costs reductions, through software introduction, to be able to automate the generation of customer orders, suppliers orders etc .However, many application claim to be able to achieve this and yet fail to deliver because they are unable to offer the required functionality to understand the various stages of inventory ie : raw materials to semi finished and finally finished products , so when it comes to order generation, many packages will tell you that you need a certain number of ends, bottom etc.And yet, what you need is the quantity of raw materials eg. decorative board that is not already in stock.

TeoWin Commercial Management module has been developed based on our costumers’ requirements, thus avoiding the imbalances or handicaps found in generic Commercial Management applications. The Commercial Management module focuses on three key areas of your business:
Management of Customer Order , Supplier Purchases and Inventory .
Teowin Estimate.
TeoWin's Estimates module performs three primary roles:
Develop and manage the items/products used (raw, semi-finished and finished)of customers, agents, suppliers and various list and print outsand management of proposals.

TeoWin's Material Management is entirely customisable enabling businesses to easily create a complete list of materials used along with their various characteristics.Unlike many application on the market Teowin is able to recognise that many items purchased by a joinery shop transform.For example, a kitchen manufacturer will purchase board which in turn will be transformed into components (top, ends, back etc) and remnants before finally being sold as a finished product - a cabinet.This enables business with TeoWin to easily manage purchase and inventory with TeoWin.
Colours can either be associated individually to panel material, doors etc or combined together into colour groups to match your suppliers availability chart.This save considerable time when managing your material list as it does not require you to assign a colour to every single material type.
When a cabinet is developed in TeoWin many of its characteristics are managed within the Estimates module.For example pricing, discounts, colour groups and sizes are all characteristics that are defined within the material management section.How designers will navigate to the various cabinets is entirely defined by the system users since TeoWin enables you to define this and easily modify it at any time.
Managing Customer, Suppliers and other aspects of your business, like shipping routes etc can all be setup within TeoWin and used for orders, invoices, despatching etc.for customers and supplier you can include, in additional to the basic information, details of which delivery route they correspond to, add conditions such as discounts (either at family, sub family or item level) and credit terms, append documents and images and assign a customer to a particular sales agent to assist with the management of commissions.Agent commissions can also be managed with TeoWin and users can define the commission tables and calculation method that is used.
Users can create labels and assign this labels to customers, components, packing boxes etc.You can also manage the content of your proposal and the layout.TeoWin divides a proposal into chapters.You can define as many chapters as you require and configure which items or families fall into these chapters.
To create, edit or modify a sales offer, user enter the Estimate Offer screen.Estimates are stored at various stages (in progress, accepted, expired).You can open an estimate and edit the contents, for example click on the 3D Design icon and you are automatically taken into the room layout.Any changes made will be immediately reflected in the estimate.Alternatively you may just wish to apply a revaluation to the estimate either by setting a fixed dollar value increase or percentage increase.
When you create a new estimate you are asked to nominate a customer and select the specific door model, colour, handle / handle orientation and drawer types that will be used to commence the job.These can easily be changed at any time either through the design process or during the sales process.
User can choose to either enter the 3D graphical environment to create their estimate or the Rapid Order Entry Grid.The later option does not require a user to create a design.You merely nominate a cabinet, the quantity and customise the cabinet to suite the specific requirement.As with the design environment, user have absolute control over the characteristics of the cabinet from basic details such as the cabinet size and handle type / configuration through to nominating the position of a column that requires a cabinet to be cut out to fit around the column.
When an estimate has been accepted by a customer you can accept the estimate and generatean order to manufacturer.



Managing Customer Orders

When an estimate has been converted to a sale it is possible to manage commercial aspects of this order from within the Commercial Management environment. For example you can generate client orders, managed deliveries based on total or partial supply with corresponding delivery notes.Each activity can culminate in the generation of an invoice for payment.

If you business involves the use of sales commission to designers then you can set-up your commission tables with the Commercial Manager and report based on actual activity avoid having to key data in more than once.
Managing Supplier Purchases
Items need to be purchased to ensure a job is delivered according to the specified deliver address.Many order generation not only adds significant overhead to a job, it can lead to errors and omissions that will have a negative impact on the profit level of a job.

Managing Inventory
It is possible to manage stock and inventory at level of raw material, semi-finished items and finished items, adapted to the characteristics of your business.You can even manage inventory across multiple warehouses.For example, items that require inspection before they are available for a job, like doors, can be allocated to an inspection warehouse until they are checked and then introduced in the main warehouse where they will be available for allocation to a job.
Management Reporting
Every business needs to analyse its activities in order to conduct reviews on the efficiency of activities / departments.Without analysis capabilities decisions are made based on either assumptions, and assumptions can be wrong.

Points Based Pricing:It is also possible to set up pricing based on the Points systems (a common method used by most manufacturers in Europe.The points system can be calculated to work with increments assigned to cabinet type, colour range, client, client type or customer zone.
Costing Analysis:Users can analyse estimates based on costs price, sales price and benefit.
